Enhanced Road Widening Work Subsequent to Stage 1 Public Consultation
The proposed investigation includes widening of the section of about 1.1km Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section), between Sha Tin Rural Committee Road and Fo Tan Road from dual 2 lanes to dual 3 lanes carriageway and modification of existing Sha Tin Rural Committee Road bridge. Noise mitigation measures will be installed in the widened road to minimize the traffic noise impact caused to the nearby residents.
